DESCRIPTION:The Economic Development Committee convenes Dublin business leaders who are interested in the economic viability of Dublin and the greater Tri-Valley area.  The committee leads the Chamber's advocacy efforts on local public policy priorities.\n\n\n\nApril 2023 Meeting: IN PERSON\nJeremy Walsh is the editor of the Pleasanton Weekly\, LivermoreVine.com and DanvilleSanRamon.com and oversees the Pleasanton Weekly print edition\, Jeremy is part of a local team which juggles professional journalism with a business acumen. \n\n \n\nTopics will be discussing local journalism in a 24/7 newscycle\, obstacles and opportunities to bringing a sole source newspaper to Dublin\, mentoring of young journalists in our community and a behind the scenes look into how decisions are made in the media. \n\n \n\nThis will be an interesting program from an award-winning journalist\, don't miss the April program.\n\n\nJeremy is a Benicia native who studied journalism at American University in Washington\, D.C. (Class of 2010)\, Jeremy is a big Bay Area sports fan\, enjoys movies and is an avid golfer. He lives in Pleasant Hill with his wife and son.
