The Economic Development Committee convenes Dublin business leaders who are interested in the economic viability of Dublin and the greater Tri-Valley area. The committee leads the Chamber's advocacy efforts on local public policy priorities.
Speaker Jennings Imel, US Chamber of Commerce
Discussion will be on tax policy (including B-SALT deductions) and tarrifs followed by Q&A.
Jennings Imel is vice president of the Western Region in the Government Affairs Division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The office is responsible for legislative and political grassroots activities in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah in support of the Chamber’s national public policy goals.
Before joining the U.S. Chamber in 2013, Jennings worked in Washington, D.C., at the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress and at the public affairs firm Mercury, Clark & Weinstock. Earlier, he worked in the California State Assembly and managed and worked on several successful congressional and state legislative campaigns, mostly in Southern California.
Jennings received a master’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in political science and German from the University of California, Riverside.
