The Economic Development Committee convenes Dublin business leaders who are interested in the economic viability of Dublin and the greater Tri-Valley area. The committee leads the Chamber's advocacy efforts on local public policy priorities.
June 2023 Meeting: IN PERSON
June is shaping up to be out to be the most substantial policy meeting for the Economic Development Committee. We will be hearing from three groups discussing important policy decisions not only for Dublin and the Tri-Valley, but for the entire State of California.
Each of these issues affect costs of doing business in California and it matters learning about these issues and how the Chamber of Commerce can be effective in forming policy. These are important people presenting important issues, see you on the 22nd at the Chamber offices.
Chad Silver, Chief Operating Officer, Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center and Ronda Carlson, Corporate Development Officer, Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley will be discussing initiatives in the 680 corridor to increase supply of housing.

Josh Heller of the J Squared Group will discuss the At Home Accountability Act. The Act is trailer bill language for the State of California legislative session which will provide policy and guidelines how cities and counties work with State mandates for dealing with Homeless issues.
