Eligibility for LIHEAP is based on your household's total gross monthly income, which must not exceed the program's income guidelines. Priority is given to households with seniors (60+ years), persons with disabilities, and children aged five and under. At the most basic level, the following must be satisfied by all applicants:
Submit a complete and truthful application
Provide identification
Provide proof of energy cost(s)
Provide proof of income qualification*
