Dublin Police Chief Nathan (Nate) Schmidt has announced that he will retire from his post, effective October 15. Chief Schmidt, who is a Commander with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, began his role as Dublin Police Chief on March 19, 2023. This was his third stint with Dublin Police Services.
